1. Entwodiksyon
This instruction manual provides detailed guidance for assembling and operating your BANRIA DIY Christmas Tree Soldering Kit. This kit is designed as an educational project for electronics beginners and enthusiasts to practice soldering skills and understand basic electronic circuits. Upon completion, it functions as a decorative item with multi-colored LED lights and integrated Christmas melodies.
Avètisman sekirite: Soldering involves the use of a hot soldering iron. Always exercise caution, wear appropriate safety gear (e.g., safety glasses), and ensure adequate ventilation. Keep out of reach of children without adult supervision.

3. Enstalasyon ak Asanble
3.1. Preparasyon
- Asire w ou gen yon espas travay pwòp e byen eklere.
- Gather necessary tools: soldering iron, solder, desoldering wick/pump, wire cutters, needle-nose pliers, safety glasses.
- Familiarize yourself with the PCB layout and component markings.
3.2. Idantifikasyon ak Plasman Konpozan
Before soldering, identify each component. Resistors are marked with color bands, capacitors with values, and LEDs/ICs have polarity markings. Pay close attention to the silkscreen markings on the PCB for correct placement and orientation.
3.3. Soldering Instructions
Follow these general steps for soldering. It is recommended to solder smaller components first, then larger ones.
- Insert Component: Place the component leads through the correct holes on the PCB.
- Bend Leads: Gently bend the leads on the solder side to hold the component in place.
- Heat Joint: Apply the tip of the soldering iron to both the component lead and the PCB pad simultaneously.
- Aplike soudaj: Touch the solder to the heated joint, allowing it to flow evenly around the lead and pad. Use only enough solder to form a small, shiny cone.
- Remove Solder & Iron: Remove the solder, then the iron. Allow the joint to cool naturally.
- Trim Leads: Use wire cutters to trim excess leads close to the solder joint.
Enpòtan: LEDs and some ICs are polarized. Ensure they are inserted with the correct orientation as indicated on the PCB silkscreen (e.g., flat side of LED, notch on IC). Incorrect polarity can prevent the circuit from functioning or damage components.

3.4. Final Asanble
- Once all electronic components are soldered onto the main PCB, attach the Christmas tree shaped PCB to the main board using the designated headers or connectors.
- Secure the decorative Santa Claus figure and the "Merry Christmas" sign into their respective slots on the main PCB.
- Attach the standoffs to the bottom of the main PCB to provide stability.

4. Operasyon
4.1. Pwovizyon pou pouvwa
Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the Type-C USB port on the main PCB and plug the other end into a standard USB 5V power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
4.2. Kontwòl
The kit features three main controls:
- Entèriptè pouvwa (OFF/ON): Located near the USB port, this switch turns the entire unit on or off.
- LED Switch (LED OFF/ON): This switch controls the LED lights. When ON, the LEDs will illuminate and cycle through various patterns.
- Music Button (MCL): Press this button to cycle through the built-in Christmas melodies.

5. Antretyen
5.1. Netwayaj
To clean the kit, gently wipe the surfaces with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using liquids or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the electronic components or the PCB.
5.2. Depo
When not in use, store the kit in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity. This will help preserve the electronic components and extend the product's lifespan.
NAN. Depanaj
If you encounter issues with your BANRIA DIY Christmas Tree Soldering Kit, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power/Lights:
- Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the kit and the power source.
- Verifye ke switch pouvwa a nan pozisyon 'ON'.
- Check for any cold solder joints or bridges (solder connecting two unintended points) on the PCB.
- Konfime ke sous kouran USB a fonksyone.
- Some LEDs Not Lighting:
- Check the polarity of the non-functional LEDs. They must be inserted in the correct direction.
- Inspect the solder joints for those specific LEDs. Re-solder if necessary.
- Ensure the LED switch is in the 'ON' position.
- No Sound/Music:
- Verify the speaker is correctly soldered and connected.
- Press the Music Button (MCL) to activate or cycle through songs.
- Check for any issues with the ICs related to sound generation.
- Fonksyonalite tanzantan:
- Inspect all solder joints for cracks or poor connections. Re-solder any suspicious joints.
- Ensure no wires or components are short-circuiting by touching unintended parts.
