Entwodiksyon
The Oceans Abyss expands on Electro-Harmonix’s award-winning reverb technology to deliver a truly immersive effects workstation. The pedal is centered around dual reverb engines that are independently programmable with full-stereo algorithms including Hall, Spring, Shimmer and more. Place these reverbs into a customizable signal path with additional FX blocks like Delay, Chorus, Tremolo, or Bit Crusher for a completely unique soundscape building experience. Electro-Harmonix has paved the way for powerful, accessible reverbs since the release of the original Holy Grail and now we’ve pushed the envelope deeper with the fully-equipped Oceans Abyss. Featuring a customizable signal path with up to 8 effects blocks, the Oceans Abyss can be configured as individual reverb, modulation, EQ, delay, bit crusher, saturation or volume effects, or as countless combinations for incredibly creative effect shaping. From a simple Spring reverb to a lush stereo field featuring stereo hall and shimmer reverbs, chorus, delay, overdrive, and tremolo, you can go from surf to shoegaze instantly, without breaking a sweat. Deep parameter editing is accessible via the high-visibility OLED display with multiple graphical views and easy-to-read designs. Expression/CV control over nearly every parameter gives artful command of your effects and dynamics. Fully-stereo I/O plus an FX Loop allows for use with any instrument, recording set up, or live rig. 128 programmable presets via onboard footswitching or MIDI ensure perfect recall in all performance situations. MIDI IN/OUT ports with MIDI IN support of PC, CC, and Tempo Clock expand the already immense talents of the Oceans Abyss. Connect with UBS-C to Windows or Mac for effects editing, preset management, and more with the free EHXport app. Explore the deep unknowns with the Oceans Abyss!

Kalite Reverb
The Oceans Abyss offers 10 distinct reverb types, each with unique characteristics:
- Chanm: Yon algoritm reverb cho ak versatile ki modle sou yon chanm vivan.
- Hall: Algorit reverb Lush ki modle sou yon gwo sal anbyen.
- Prentan: De algoritm reverb prentan diferan: Yon vintagEmulasyon Fender® 1962G6 15 la ak algorithm klasik prentan an ki soti nan EHX Holy Grail la.
- Plak: Two emulations of a smooth, bright metal plate reverb commonly found in high-end recording studios during the 1960's and 70's. Normal and large modes.
- Ranvèse: Yon vèsyon teknik reverb envès yo souvan fè nan estidyo yo, ansanm ak yon mòd eko envès.
- Dinamik: Two reverbs that are affected by your playing dynamics. Gate mode allows for creating the classic 80's gated reverb effect with hard muting on the reverb tail, plus Gate includes reverb that may swell in. Duck mode creates reverb effects that decrease in volume the louder the input signal, allowing the reverb to stay out of the way of your playing but then become more lush and present as your dry signal fades.
- Auto-Inf: Reverb that listens to your playing and crossfades to a new reverb wash upon detection of newly struck notes and chords. Two modes affect how the crossfade occurs. Swell automatically mutes the previous wash while fading in the new one. X-Fade smoothly crossfades the two.
- Shimmer: De konfigirasyon yon rich amoni ki chanje oktav nan yon nyaj reverberan.
- Polifonik: De chanjman ton bidireksyonèl konfigirab ki ajoute dimansyonalite etonan nan ke reverb la. Chwazi ant algoritm reverb Hall oswa Plate.
- Resonant: Two distinct modes, the first a reverb excited by tunable resonators, and the second a configurable self-oscillating filter on the reverb tail.
Effects Blocks and Routing
The Oceans Abyss allows for flexible signal path routing with up to 8 effects blocks. These blocks can be configured in individual, parallel, or series arrangements, offering extensive sound design possibilities. Effects include various delays, modulation (tremolo, chorus, flanger, phaser), graphic EQ, saturation, bit crusher, and an external FX loop.

The dual action footswitches allow for momentary or latching use, providing versatile control over effects. Pressing and holding a footswitch can engage an infinite reverb sustain, allowing notes and chords to build up on top of each other.
