The helmet is equipped with an automatic power-on/off function. It activates when exposed to light and deactivates after a period of inactivity.
6.2 Digital Lens Adjustments
The digital welding lens allows for precise control of welding parameters:
- Kontwòl lonbraj: Use the "SHADE" button to cycle through or adjust the desired shade level (4/5-9/9-13). Refer to welding standards for appropriate shade levels for your application.
- Kontwòl sansiblite: Use the "SENSITIVITY" button to adjust the lens's sensitivity to arc light. Higher sensitivity is suitable for low amperage TIG welding, while lower sensitivity helps prevent false triggering from ambient light.
- Tan reta: Use the "DELAY" button to set the time the lens remains dark after the arc stops. A longer delay is useful for high amperage welding to protect against afterglow.
- Seleksyon mòd: Use the "MODE" button to select between welding (TIG, MIG, ARC) and grinding modes. In grinding mode, the auto-darkening function is deactivated, and the lens remains in a light state (shade 4).
6.3 Flip-up Mechanism
To perform non-welding tasks (e.g., inspecting welds, preparing materials) without removing the helmet, simply lift the front flip-up section. The clear inner visor provides eye protection during these tasks.
