5. Enstalasyon

1. Connect the provided USB power cable to the main unit and a suitable USB power adapter (not included).
2. For backup power, insert 4x AA Mignon LR06 batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the main unit. This ensures data retention during power outages.

5.2 Installing the Outdoor Sensor (TX205DTH)

5.3 Initial Pairing and App Connection

1. Once both units are powered, the main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. The outdoor temperature and humidity should appear on the display.
2. Download the free "DirektWetter" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
3. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your WD2500 XXL Weather Station to your home WiFi network. This enables advanced features like 4-day forecasts and remote data access.

Set specific temperature alarms (e.g., for frost warnings) via the device settings or the DirektWetter app. The station will alert you if the temperature falls below or rises above your set thresholds.

8.1 No Outdoor Sensor Data

• Ensure the outdoor sensor batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
• Check that the outdoor sensor is within the effective transmission range (typically up to 100 meters in open air) and free from major obstructions.
• Try re-pairing the sensor by removing and reinserting its batteries, then restarting the main unit if necessary.
