Olayks Espresso Machine 20 Bar (Model OLK-988G) Instruction Manual

Your guide to operating and maintaining your Olayks Espresso Machine.

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your Olayks Espresso Machine, Model OLK-988G. Designed for home use, this machine allows you to prepare a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos, with its 20-bar pressure system and integrated milk frother.

3. Enstalasyon

4. Operasyon Enstriksyon

4.1. Fè Espresso

  1. Prepare Kafe: Use finely ground coffee (recommended grind size: 0.2mm - 0.3mm). Select either the 1-cup or 2-cup filter basket and place it into the portafilter.
  2. Fill and Tamp: Fill the filter basket with ground coffee. Use the coffee spoon/tamper to level and firmly tamp the coffee grounds. Ensure the edges of the filter basket are clean of loose grounds.
  3. Atache Pòtafiltè a: Align the portafilter with the group head on the machine. Insert it and turn it firmly to the right until it is securely locked in place.
  4. Mete gode(yo): Place one or two espresso cups on the drip tray directly beneath the portafilter spouts. For best results, pre-warm your cups.
  5. Kòmanse Ekstraksyon an: Once the green indicator light is solid, press the single cup button () for a single shot or the double cup button for a double shot. The machine will begin extracting espresso.
  6. Kontwole presyon: The built-in pressure gauge will display the extraction pressure. Aim for the optimal range indicated on the gauge for rich, full-bodied espresso with good crema.
  7. Stop Extraction: The machine will automatically stop the extraction after a preset volume. You can manually stop it by pressing the button again if desired.

4.2. Lèt vapè

  1. Activate Steam Mode: After making espresso, press the steam button (☁️). The indicator light will blink, then become solid when the machine reaches steaming temperature.
  2. Prepare lèt: Fill a milk frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to just below the spout.
  3. Lèt kim: Submerge the steam wand tip just below the surface of the milk. Turn the steam control knob on the side of the machine to release steam. Move the pitcher up and down to create dense, smooth milk foam. The steam wand is 270° adjustable for convenience.

4.3. Fonksyon dlo cho

To dispense hot water, simply turn the steam control knob on the side of the machine and press the single/double cup button. Hot water will be dispensed from the steam wand.
