It features a 13-gallon foldable bucket, an upgraded 24W water pump, and 8 adjustable drip emitters to ensure precise irrigation.

Follow these steps to assemble your MARS HYDRO Auto Drip Irrigation Kit.

4.1. Assemble the Bucket

  1. Connect the upright column bases to the upright columns.
  2. Insert the assembled upright columns into the designated sleeves inside the foldable bucket to provide structural support.
  3. Install the drain switch valve onto the bucket's lower outlet. Ensure the waterproof ring is correctly seated to prevent leaks.
  4. Install the overflow spout onto the bucket's upper outlet, ensuring the waterproof ring is correctly seated.

4.2. Connect the Water Pump and Tubing

  1. Connect the AC adapter to the DC water pump.
  2. Insert the 8/12mm silicone tube into the bucket and connect it to the water pump.
  3. Attach the check valve and the 8/12mm locking switch valve to the 8/12mm water tube. Ensure the check valve is installed in the correct direction as indicated by the arrow.
  4. Connect the 4/6mm PVC tube to the tube connectors and then to the 8-outlet drip emitters. You may need to cut the tubes to your desired length. For easier installation, use a hair dryer to heat and soften the tube ends before attaching connectors and emitters.
  5. Attach the locking plug at the end of the 8/12mm water tube to seal the system.

Once assembled, follow these steps to operate your drip irrigation system.

Fill the 13-gallon foldable bucket with water. The visible water level indicator helps monitor the remaining water. If using fertilizers or nutrient solutions, ensure they are fully dissolved or diluted before adding them to the reservoir to prevent clogging.

5.2. Adjusting Drip Emitters

The drip emitters feature 360° adjustable sprinkle heads. Rotate the heads to control the water flow and distribution according to your plants' needs. This allows for precise irrigation, saving water and promoting healthy growth.

5.3. Automatic Watering (Optional)

For automated watering, connect the system to a MARS HYDRO digital timer (sold separately). This allows you to customize watering times and frequency, ensuring your plants receive consistent hydration without constant manual intervention. The pump automatically stops when the water level is below 1.97 inches (5 cm) as a safety measure.
