This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, setup, and maintenance of your KATOOL Tire Changer Machine KT835 and Wheel Balancer KT-B760 combo system. This versatile system is designed to facilitate tire changing and balancing tasks with ease and precision in automotive workshops.
The KT835 tire changer features an alloy steel jaw with deep carburization treatment for enhanced durability and tenacity, along with a stainless mounting head designed for optimal engineering principles and rim protection. The KT-B760 wheel balancer incorporates an all-in-one pressure sensor design for stable and high-precision measurements, and a high-strength, quenching-treated shaft thread. Both units are equipped with user-friendly features, including a 110V power supply compatibility and built-in fault diagnosis and self-calibration programs for simplified operation.

2. Enfòmasyon sou Sekirite
Always prioritize safety when operating machinery. Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating the KATOOL Tire Changer and Wheel Balancer.

The KATOOL 835+760 system includes a tire changer and a wheel balancer, along with necessary accessories. Familiarize yourself with the main components of each unit.
3.1. KT835 Tire Changer Components:
- Turntable with Clamps: Securely holds the wheel during tire removal and installation. Features alloy steel jaws for durability.
- Mounting Head (Bird Head): Designed for smooth tire removal and mounting without damaging tires or wheels. Made of stainless steel with a plastic cover for rim protection.
- Bead Breaker: Used to separate the tire bead from the wheel rim. Operated by a pull-type pedal control system.
- Assist Arm (Optional/Integrated): Provides additional leverage for stiff or low-profile kawotchou.
- Pedal Control System: Foot pedals for controlling turntable rotation, bead breaker, and clamping.
- Air Regulator and Lubricator: Manages air pressure and lubricates pneumatic components.

3.2. KT-B760 Wheel Balancer Components:
- Measuring Shaft: The central spindle where the wheel is mounted for balancing. Features a φ36mm shaft thread with quenching treatment for high strength.
- Panèl kontwòl/Ekspozisyon: Digital interface for inputting wheel parameters and displaying balancing results. Includes built-in fault diagnosis and self-calibration programs.
- Weight Tray: Storage for balancing weights.

- Cones and Quick Nut: Used to center and secure the wheel on the measuring shaft.

4. Enstalasyon
4.1. Debalaj ak enspeksyon:
- Carefully unpack all components from the shipping crates.
- Inspect all parts for any signs of shipping damage. Report any damage to the carrier and supplier immediately.

4.2. Preparasyon Sit:
- Choose a location with a solid, level concrete floor capable of supporting the weight of the machines and the wheels being serviced.
- Ensure adequate space around both machines for safe operation and movement of tires and personnel.
- Confirm access to a dedicated 110V, 1-phase, 60Hz power outlet.
- For the tire changer, ensure access to a compressed air supply with appropriate pressure (typically 8-10 bar / 116-145 psi).
4.3. Asanble ak Enstalasyon:
- Tire Changer (KT835):
- Attach the vertical column and horizontal arm assembly to the main body, securing all bolts firmly.
- Connect the air lines to the bead breaker cylinder, turntable cylinders, and assist arm (if applicable).
- Install the air regulator and lubricator unit.
- Mount the mounting head onto the horizontal arm.
- Wheel Balancer (KT-B760):
- Position the balancer on the prepared level surface.
- Ensure the display unit is securely attached and all electrical connections are firm.

- Connect both machines to their respective 110V power outlets. Ensure the power supply is stable and reliable.
- Air Connection (KT835):
- Connect the compressed air supply to the tire changer's air inlet. Adjust the pressure to the recommended operating range.
5. Operasyon Enstriksyon
5.1. KT835 Tire Changer Operation:
- Preparasyon:
- Deflate the tire completely.
- Remove any wheel weights or valve stems.

- Activate the turntable rotation pedal to spin the wheel, allowing the mounting head to peel the tire off the rim.

- Place the bottom bead onto the rim, positioning it under the mounting head.
- Activate the turntable rotation to guide the bottom bead onto the rim.
- Repeat for the top bead, using the assist arm if necessary for stiff tires.
- Inflate the tire to the recommended pressure, ensuring the beads seat properly. Use the bead blaster function if available and needed.
- Removing the Wheel:
- Lage clamps using the pedal.
- Carefully lift the wheel from the turntable.
5.2. KT-B760 Wheel Balancer Operation:

- Select the correct cone size for the wheel's center bore.
- Mount the wheel onto the balancer's shaft, ensuring it is centered and secured with the quick nut.
- Inputting Wheel Parameters:
- Use the automatic measuring ruler to input the wheel's distance (A) and diameter (D) values into the balancer's control panel.
- Manually input the wheel's width (W) if not automatically detected.
- Select the desired balancing mode (e.g., static, dynamic, alloy).
- Starting the Measurement Cycle:
- Close the wheel guard (if equipped) and press the START button.
- The balancer will spin the wheel and measure any imbalance.

- The display will indicate the amount and location of weights required on both the inner and outer sides of the rim.
- Attach the appropriate balancing weights to the indicated positions on the rim.
- Re-checking Balance:
- Spin the wheel again to verify the balance. The display should show zero or near-zero imbalance.
- If an imbalance persists, adjust or add weights as necessary.
- Removing the Wheel:
- Once balanced, remove the wheel from the balancer shaft.
6. Antretyen
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your KATOOL equipment. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.

- Clean the turntable, clamps, and mounting head of the tire changer to remove rubber debris and dirt.
- Wipe down the balancer's shaft and control panel.
- Check air pressure and lubricator oil levels on the tire changer.
