3. Enstalasyon

3.1 Enstalasyon ak Chaje Batri

1. Align the battery pack with the back of the radio and slide it into place until it clicks. Secure it with the provided screw.
2. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the port on the battery pack and plug the adapter into a power source. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.
3. For optimal battery life, fully charge the battery before first use (approximately 4 hours).

3.2 Antèn Atachman

The GM-30 Plus comes with two types of antennas: a standard 7-inch antenna and a longer 15.5-inch antenna for extended range. Choose the appropriate antenna for your communication needs.

1. Screw the desired antenna clockwise onto the antenna connector on top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
2. The longer antenna (15.5") provides slightly better gain, which can be beneficial in areas with marginal signal strength.

3.3 Programming Cable Use

The included programming cable allows for advanced customization of channels, repeaters, and other settings via computer software. Refer to the official Radioddity website for software downloads and detailed programming instructions.

The GM-30 Plus offers up to 1,000 channels across 10 zones, including 30 default GMRS channels and 970 customizable channels. Use the up/down arrow keys to navigate through channels. The MENU button allows access to zone management and other settings.

4.3 One-Click Frequency Copy

4.4 Long-Distance Communication

The GM-30 Plus offers a transmission range of up to 15 miles in open areas. Range may vary based on terrain, obstructions, and antenna type. For best results, use the longer 15.5-inch antenna in open environments.

4.5 Suivi GPS

The built-in GPS feature allows you to track your location and share it with contacts. To activate GPS mode, press and hold the [P2] key. The display will show "My Place" and begin searching for satellites. Once a position is acquired, it will display longitude, latitude, and straight-line distance to your contacts. Note that altitude readings may have deviations.

4.6 Multi-Band Receiver (NOAA, UHF, VHF, Airband)

The GM-30 Plus supports a wide range of receiving bands, including GMRS, FM, UHF, VHF, NOAA weather radio, and Airband. This allows for versatile monitoring and scanning capabilities. Use the MENU button to access band selection and scanning features.
