2. Attach a Cleaner Head: Select either the Digital Motorbar™ XL cleaner head for deep cleaning carpets and hard floors, or the Fluffy Optic™ cleaner head for hard floors to reveal invisible dust. Align your chosen cleaner head with the end of the wand and push until it clicks.
3. Enstale batri: Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use. Slide the battery into the base of the main vacuum unit until it clicks. Your Gen5outsize comes with two batteries for extended run time.

4.2 Chaje

It is recommended to fully charge the battery before the first use. The vacuum can be charged directly or via the docking station.

• Docking Station Charging: Mount the docking station to a wall in a convenient location near a power outlet. Connect the charger to the docking station, then place the vacuum onto the docking station.

• Fluffy Optic™ cleaner head: Features illumination technology to reveal invisible dust on hard floors, ensuring a thorough clean.
• Zouti vis cheve: Ideal for picking up long hair and pet hair from upholstery and tight spaces without tangling.
• Konbinezon zouti: A versatile tool that combines a wide nozzle and brush for quick switching between cleaning and dusting tasks.
• Built-in dusting and crevice tool: Integrated into the wand, this tool is always available for quick transitions to handheld cleaning in tight spots or for dusting.

6. Antretyen

6.1 Emptying the Bin

Empty the bin as soon as the dirt reaches the MAX level. For hygienic emptying, hold the machine over a bin and push the red lever to release the dirt.

6.2 Washing the Filter

The HEPA filter is washable and should be cleaned regularly to maintain optimal suction and filtration performance. Dyson recommends washing the filter at least once a month, or more frequently if used heavily.

1. Twist the filter counter-clockwise to remove it from the main body of the vacuum.
2. Wash the filter under cold running water until the water runs clear. Do not use detergents.
3. Tap the filter gently to remove excess water.
4. Leave the filter to dry completely for at least 24 hours in a warm, dry place. Do not dry in a tumble dryer, microwave, or near a naked flame.
5. Once completely dry, reassemble the filter by twisting it clockwise back into the vacuum.

6.3 Cleaning Cleaner Heads and Tools

Regularly check cleaner heads and tools for blockages or debris. The brush bars can be removed for cleaning if necessary.

• To remove the brush bar from the Digital Motorbar™ XL cleaner head, use a coin to unlock the end cap.
• To remove the soft roller from the Fluffy Optic™ cleaner head, press the release button and slide it out.
• Clear any tangled hair or debris from the brush bars. Do not wash the brush bars.
• Reassemble once clean.
