The PTH-9D monitor can be placed on a flat surface, such as a table or desk, or mounted on a wall using the integrated hanging hole. Ensure the device is placed in an area where air circulates freely and is not obstructed by furniture or curtains. Avoid placing it near vents, windows, or direct heat sources.

4.3 Carbon Monoxide Detection and Alarm
The PTH-9D uses a highly accurate NDIR (Non-Dispersive Infrared) sensor to detect carbon monoxide concentration every 2 seconds. The device provides visual and audible indications based on detected CO levels:
- 0-99 ppm: Green indicator light (Normal/Good air quality).
- 100-149 ppm: Yellow indicator light (Warning/Moderate air quality).
- 150-500 ppm: Red indicator light (Dangerous/Poor air quality).
When the CO concentration exceeds 200 ppm, the device will activate an audible alarm to alert you to potentially dangerous conditions.
