1. Chaje batri a
- Insert the battery pack (CMCB2015) into the charger (CMCBI104). Ensure it is fully seated.
- Plug the charger into a standard electrical outlet. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
- Allow the battery to charge completely. The indicator light will change color or turn off when charging is complete. Refer to the charger's manual for specific indicator light behavior.
- Once charged, unplug the charger and remove the battery pack.
2. Attaching/Changing Blades (Tool-Free)
The CRAFTSMAN V20 Trimmer features a convenient tool-free blade change system.
- Ensure Battery is Removed: Always remove the V20 battery pack from the tool before changing blades to prevent accidental startup.
- Remove Current Blade (if applicable): Locate the two yellow release buttons on the side of the tool body. Press both buttons simultaneously and gently pull the attached blade assembly away from the tool body.
- Mete nouvo lam la: Align the desired blade (8" hedge trimmer or 4" grass shear) with the tool body. Ensure the drive shaft on the blade assembly aligns with the corresponding slot on the tool. - Hold the tool firmly with both hands, ensuring a stable grip.
- Start trimming from the bottom of the hedge and work your way up, using a sweeping motion.
- Maintain a slight angle to achieve a clean, even cut.
- Avoid forcing the blade through thick branches; make multiple passes if necessary.

Using the 4" Grass Shear Blade
The 4-inch grass shear blade is perfect for light trimming around garden beds, sidewalks, and other areas where a lawnmower or string trimmer cannot reach.
- Hold the tool comfortably, positioning the grass shear blade parallel to the ground.
- Use a gentle back-and-forth motion to trim grass along edges or in tight spaces.
- Be careful not to cut into soil or hard surfaces, as this can dull or damage the blade.
