  1. Attach the dovetail base to your telescope's optical tube using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.

5.3. Powering the Crosshair Illumination

The illuminated crosshair requires two LR41 button cell batteries. To install or replace them:

  1. Unscrew the illumination unit from the eyepiece.
  2. Insert the LR41 batteries with the correct polarity.
  3. Screw the illumination unit back onto the eyepiece.
