1. Pwodwi souview
The Truma DuoControl CS is an automatic changeover gas regulator designed for recreational vehicles, ensuring a continuous gas supply from two gas cylinders. It automatically switches from the empty operating cylinder to the full reserve cylinder. The integrated crash sensor allows for safe heating even while driving, interrupting the gas supply in the event of an accident.

2. Enstriksyon Sekirite
- Installation and maintenance must only be carried out by qualified personnel in accordance with national regulations and technical rules.
- Always ensure adequate ventilation when operating gas appliances.
- Check all gas connections for leaks regularly, especially after changing gas cylinders.
- Do not attempt to repair the device yourself. Contact a specialist.
- Close the gas cylinder valves when the vehicle is parked for extended periods or during refueling.
3. Enstalasyon ak Enstalasyon
3.1 Eleman
- Truma DuoControl CS regulator unit
- High-pressure gas hoses with hose rupture protection (G.12 connection)
- Gas filters (optional, but recommended for optimal performance)
- Mounting bracket ak vis

3.2 Mounting the Regulator
- Select a suitable vertical mounting position in the gas cylinder box, ensuring easy access for cylinder changes and visual inspection.
- Secure the mounting bracket firmly to the vehicle wall using appropriate screws.
- Attach the DuoControl CS unit to the mounting bracket.
3.3 Connecting Gas Hoses
- Ensure gas cylinder valves are closed.
- Connect the high-pressure gas hoses to the gas cylinders. Ensure the hose rupture protection is correctly seated.
- Connect the other end of the high-pressure gas hoses to the inlet connections of the DuoControl CS regulator.
- Connect the gas line from the vehicle's gas system to the outlet of the DuoControl CS.
- If using gas filters, install them between the gas cylinder and the high-pressure hose.

3.4 Tès Leak
After installation, perform a thorough leak test on all connections using a suitable leak detection spray. Open the gas cylinder valves slowly and check for bubbles at the connections. If bubbles appear, tighten the connection and re-test. If leaks persist, close the gas supply immediately and consult a specialist.
4. Operasyon
4.1 Premye kòmansman
- Ensure both gas cylinders are connected and their valves are open.
- The DuoControl CS will automatically select the operating cylinder. The green indicator on the regulator shows that gas is flowing from the operating cylinder.
- If the operating cylinder becomes empty, the indicator will turn red, and the system will automatically switch to the reserve cylinder.
4.2 Crash Sensor Function
The integrated crash sensor allows for safe operation of gas appliances while driving. In the event of a collision with a deceleration of 0.5 g or more, the crash sensor will automatically shut off the gas supply to prevent gas leaks.
Resetting the Crash Sensor:
- If the gas supply is interrupted due to the crash sensor, check for any damage to the gas system.
- Press the yellow reset button on the DuoControl CS firmly for a few seconds until it clicks into place.
- The gas supply should now be restored. If not, check gas cylinder levels and connections.
4.3 Changing Gas Cylinders
- When the operating cylinder is empty (red indicator), close its valve.
- Disconnect the empty cylinder and replace it with a full one.
- Open the valve of the newly connected cylinder. The DuoControl CS will automatically recognize it as the new operating cylinder or reserve cylinder.
5. Antretyen
5.1 Tèks regilye
- Inspect gas hoses for damage, cracks, or wear at least annually, and replace them every 10 years (or sooner if damaged).
- Check all connections for tightness regularly.
- Ensure the crash sensor reset button moves freely.
5.2 Gas Filter Maintenance
If gas filters are installed, they should be checked and replaced regularly, depending on usage and gas quality. A clogged filter can reduce gas flow and affect appliance performance. Refer to the gas filter's specific instructions for replacement intervals.
