Figi 3: Egzample connection diagram illustrating the wiring of the solar charge controller with PV array, battery bank, and load. Consult local and national electrical codes for compliance.
4.2 Etap enstalasyon yo
- Montaj: Mount the controller vertically on a non-flammable surface in a well-ventilated area, ensuring adequate clearance for heat dissipation.
- Atè: Connect the grounding terminal to earth ground. The controller features common negative grounding.
- Koneksyon batri: Connect the battery cables to the battery terminals on the controller. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative). The PV input voltage must be at least 2V greater than the battery voltage to initiate charging.
- Koneksyon Anrejistreman PV: Connect the solar panel cables to the PV terminals. Verify correct polarity. The maximum PV open circuit voltage pa ta dwe depase 150V.
- Koneksyon chaj: Connect the load to the load control relay terminals.
- Pwodwi pou Telefòn opsyonèl: Connect the Remote Temperature Sensor (RTS) to the RTS Port and the Remote Battery Voltage Sensor (RBVS) to the RBVS Port for accurate temperature compensation and voltage mezi.
- Pouvwa sou: After all connections are secure and verified, the controller will power on automatically.
5. Operasyon Enstriksyon
5.1 Ekran LCD ak Entèfas

Figure 4: The LCD display shows various system parameters such as PV voltage, chaje aktyèl, batri voltage, load status, and energy statistics. The browse interface illustrates different screens accessible via the SELECT and ENTER buttons.
The LCD provides real-time system information. Use the CHWAZI button to navigate through different display screens and the ANTRE button to confirm selections or enter settings menus.
5.2 Paramèt Kalite Batri
The controller supports various battery types. It is crucial to set the correct battery type for optimal charging and battery longevity. The supported types include:
- Sele (Default)
- Jèl
- Inonde
- Lityòm
- User-defined (for custom parameters)
Access the battery type settings through the controller's menu using the SELECT and ENTER buttons or via the RS485 communication port with appropriate software/remote meter.
5.3 Entèfas kominikasyon
The controller features an RS-485 communication bus interface and supports the Modbus communication protocol. This allows for connection to a PC or a remote meter (e.g., MT50) for advanced monitoring, parameter setting, and data logging.
6. Antretyen
Antretyen regilye asire lonjevite ak pèfòmans optimal kontwolè chaj solè ou a.
- Enspeksyon vizyèl: Periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and corrosion. Ensure no insulation damage.
- Netwayaj: Keep the controller's heat sink and enclosure clean and free from dust or debris to ensure proper heat dissipation. Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
- Vantilasyon: Ensure the installation area remains well-ventilated and free from obstructions that could impede airflow.
- Sante batri: Siveye batri voltage and health regularly. Ensure battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion.
NAN. Depanaj
