2. Enstalasyon

Before playing, carefully assemble your Eastar flute. Handle the instrument with the provided white gloves to prevent fingerprints and smudges.

1. Debake: Remove all components from the durable hard case.
2. Kanpe Asanble: The included flute stand can be easily assembled by unfolding its legs to provide a stable base for your instrument.
3. Flute Assembly: Gently connect the headjoint, body, and footjoint. Align the keys and embouchure hole carefully. If the joints are stiff, a small amount of cork grease (not included) can be applied to the tenons.

• Embouchure: The undercut beveled embouchure is designed for easy blowing, helping beginners produce clear tones. Position your lips correctly over the lip plate and direct a steady air stream across the embouchure hole.
• Key System: The flute features 16 closed keys with an offset G and split E key mechanism, which are standard for beginner flutes and aid in comfortable finger placement and improved intonation.
• Dwèt: Refer to the included fingering chart for correct hand positions and note production. Practice scales and simple melodies to familiarize yourself with the instrument.

Proper maintenance is crucial for the longevity and performance of your flute. The Eastar flute is designed for easy cleaning and maintenance.

• Cleaning Rod and Cloth: After each use, thread the cleaning cloth through the eye of the tuning rod. Gently pass the rod through the inside of the flute sections to remove moisture and debris.
• Netwayaj eksteryè: Use a soft, dry cleaning cloth to wipe down the exterior of the flute, especially after handling, to prevent tarnish and keep the surface shiny. The included white gloves can be worn during cleaning to avoid leaving new fingerprints.
• Swen kousinen: The waterproof leather pads contribute to strong air-tightness. Avoid touching the pads directly with your fingers. If pads become sticky, use a piece of lint-free paper placed under the pad and gently press the key to absorb moisture.
