3. Attaching the Visor Clip
To attach the visor clip:
- Locate the slot on the back of the remote.
- Slide the metal visor clip into the slot until it clicks securely into place.

- For Genie Intellicode Garage Door Openers (1997-Present): The remote can operate up to 3 openers. Refer to your garage door opener's manual for specific programming steps, which typically involve pressing the 'Learn' button on the opener unit and then a button on the remote.
- For Genie Operators (1995-1997): The remote will operate with up to 2 doors using only the top two buttons. Consult your specific opener's manual for programming instructions.
General programming steps often involve:
- Locate the 'Learn Code' button on your garage door opener's power head.
- Press and release the 'Learn Code' button. The LED indicator on the opener will begin to flash.
- Within 30 seconds, press and release the desired button on your G3T-R remote.
- The opener's LED will stop flashing and illuminate steadily, indicating successful programming.
- Test the remote by pressing the programmed button. The garage door should activate.
