5.1 Enstalasyon batri

1. Carefully remove the front cover of the thermostat.

4. Replace the front cover, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

5.2 Montaj

The Salus RT310 is designed for wall mounting. Choose a suitable location away from direct heat sources, drafts, or direct sunlight, which could affect temperature readings. The ideal height is typically 1.5 meters from the floor.

5.3 Wiring (230V Control)

WARNING: Ensure the main power supply to your heating system is switched OFF at the consumer unit/fuse box before attempting any wiring. Electrical installation should be performed by a qualified professional.

The Salus RT310 is a wired thermostat. It provides both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contacts for connection to your heating system. For standard 230V control, you will typically use the COM and NO terminals.

Typical Wiring for Replacement (e.g., from an old analogue thermostat):

• Identify the wires from your existing thermostat. Common colors are Brown (Permanent Live), Black (Switched Live), Blue (Neutral), and Green/Yellow (Earth).

• Konekte a Switched Live (Black) fil nan NON (3) terminal on the RT310.
• La Net (ble) wire is generally not required for the RT310 as it is battery-powered. It should be safely terminated in a terminal strip or insulated with electrical tape.

After wiring, carefully attach the thermostat front panel to the backplate. Restore power to your heating system.
