1. Entwodiksyon

The Behringer DeepMind 12 is a 49-key, 12-voice analog synthesizer designed to deliver rich, authentic sounds. It features a robust build with solid wood end cheeks and a durable metal chassis, ensuring longevity and stability. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your DeepMind 12.

The DeepMind 12 incorporates advanced sound design capabilities, including dual analog OSCs and LFOs per voice, 3 ADSR Generators, an 8-Channel Modulation Matrix, and onboard 4 FX engines. Its intuitive interface allows for comprehensive control over your soundscapes, making it a versatile instrument for both studio and live performance.

Place your DeepMind 12 on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. The synthesizer features robust construction with solid wood end cheeks and a durable metal chassis, providing excellent stability.

Connect the provided power cable to the AC IN port on the rear panel of the DeepMind 12 and then to a suitable power outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting.

Connect the main audio outputs (L/MONO and R) on the rear panel to your mixer, audio interface, or amplifier using appropriate 1/4-inch TS or TRS cables. For headphone monitoring, use the PHONES output.

3.4 Koneksyon MIDI ak USB

The DeepMind 12 supports MIDI In, Out, and Thru connections for integration with other MIDI devices. For computer connectivity and software control, use the USB port. This allows for firmware updates and advanced parameter editing via dedicated software.

4.1 Powering On and Initial Sound

After connecting all necessary cables, switch on the power. The unit will boot up, and the display will show the current patch. Adjust the Volim knob located on the left side of the control panel to a comfortable listening level.

4.2 Navigating Presets

The DeepMind 12 comes with numerous factory presets. Use the BANK/UP epi BANK/DOWN bouton yo, ansanm ak ENTRE DONE knob, to browse through the available sounds. The central display will show the preset name and relevant parameters.

4.3 Sound Shaping Controls

The DeepMind 12 offers extensive controls for sound design:

• Pitch and Mod Wheels: Located on the left, these illuminated wheels allow for real-time pitch bending and modulation effects.
• ARP/SEQ Section: Control arpeggiator and sequencer functions, including chord mode, rate, and gate time.
• LFO1 & LFO2: Two Low-Frequency Oscillators with controls for rate, delay time, and various waveforms to modulate sound parameters.
• OSC 1 ak 2: Dual Oscillators with controls for pitch, tone mod, PWM, and noise level, forming the core of the sound.
• POLY Section: Manage polyphony settings, including unison detune for thicker sounds.
• VCF (Voltage Filtè Kontwole): Adjust frequency and resonance to shape the timbre of the sound.
• VCA (Voltage Kontwole Amplifier): Control the overall level of the sound.
• HPF (Filtè Pase-wo): Further sculpt the sound by cutting low frequencies.
• ANVLÒP: Dedicated ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) envelopes for VCA, VCF, and Mod, allowing dynamic control over sound evolution.

5. Antretyen

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your DeepMind 12, follow these maintenance guidelines:
