This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper use, assembly, and maintenance of your Jané Epic + Koos Travel System. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product and retain it for future reference.

The Jané Epic + Koos Travel System combines a versatile stroller with a lightweight infant car seat, designed for comfort, safety, and ease of use from birth up to 13 kg (approximately 18 months). Its urban and pioneering design features a robust tubular aluminum chassis, hardwearing PU tyres, and independent, long-travel suspension for excellent maneuverability and a smooth ride.

• Jané Koos Infant Car Seat: A lightweight Group 0+ car seat with a 3-point harness, side impact protection, and a canopy.

4. Enstalasyon ak Asanble

4.1. Stroller Assembly (Jané Epic)

1. Unfolding the Chassis: Release the folding lock (if engaged) and lift the handlebar until the chassis clicks into place, indicating it is fully open.
2. Atache wou yo: Insert the front and rear wheels into their respective slots until they lock securely. Ensure they are firmly attached by pulling on them.
3. Atache Inite Syèj la: Align the seat unit with the chassis connectors. Push down firmly until you hear a click, confirming it is securely attached. The seat is reversible and can be faced forwards or backwards.
4. Ajisteman gidon an: Press the buttons on the side of the handlebar to adjust it to your desired height.

4.2. Car Seat Installation (Jané Koos)

The Koos car seat can be installed in a vehicle using the vehicle's 3-point seat belt or attached to the Epic stroller chassis using the Pro-Fix system.

4.2.1. Vehicle Installation

1. Place the Koos car seat on the vehicle seat, ensuring it faces rearward.
2. Route the vehicle's 3-point seat belt through the designated guides on the car seat.
3. Buckle the seat belt and pull it tight to remove any slack, ensuring the car seat is firmly secured and does not move more than 1 inch in any direction.
4. Refer to the separate Koos car seat manual for detailed vehicle installation instructions and compatibility.

4.2.2. Attaching to Stroller Chassis (Pro-Fix System)

1. Ensure the stroller chassis is fully unfolded and locked.
2. Remove the stroller seat unit if it is attached.
3. Align the Koos car seat with the Pro-Fix connectors on the stroller chassis.
4. Lower the car seat onto the connectors until it clicks securely into place. Verify it is locked by gently lifting the car seat.

5. Operasyon Enstriksyon

5.1. Using the Jané Epic Stroller

• Sistèm ekipay: Always secure your child with the 5-point harness. Adjust the shoulder straps to the appropriate height and ensure the harness is snug but comfortable.

5.2. Using the Jané Koos Infant Car Seat

• Ajisteman ekipay: The Koos car seat features a one-pull 3-point safety harness for easy adjustment of length. Ensure the harness straps are at or below your child's shoulders when rear-facing.
