- Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack.
- Connect the test probes across the component or circuit to be measured, observing polarity.
- Li voltage value on the digital display. If a negative sign appears, it indicates reversed polarity.
4.2 AC VoltagMezi e (V~)
- Mete switch rotary la sou volim AC ou vle a.tage (V~) range (e.g., 500V, 200V).
- Connect the black test lead to the "COM" jack and the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack.
- Konekte sond tès yo atravè vòltaj AC a.tage sous.
- Li voltage valè sou ekspozisyon dijital la.
4.3 DC Current Measurement (A--)
- ENPÒTAN: Pou mezire kouran, fòk mèt la konekte an seri ak sikwi a. Asire w ke sikwi a pa gen kouran anvan ou konekte mèt la.
- Set the rotary switch to the desired DC Current (A--) range (e.g., 10A, 200mA, 20mA, 2000µA, 200µA).
- For ranges up to 200mA, connect the red test lead to the "VΩmA" jack. For the 10A range, connect the red test lead to the "10A" jack. The black lead always connects to "COM".
- Open the circuit where current is to be measured and insert the meter in series.
- Mete kouran nan sikwi a epi li valè aktyèl la sou ekran an.
- After measurement, disconnect power, remove the meter, and restore the circuit.
4.4 Mezi Rezistans (Ω)
- AVÈTISMAN: Ensure the circuit or component under test is completely de-energized before measuring resistance.
- Set the rotary switch to the desired Resistance (Ω) range (e.g., 20000kΩ, 2000kΩ, 200kΩ, 20kΩ, 2000Ω, 200Ω).
- Connect the black test lead to "COM" and the red test lead to "VΩmA".
- Konekte sond tès yo atravè konpozan an.
- Li valè rezistans nan ekspozisyon an.
4.5 Tès Dyòd (→|→)
- Mete switch rotary la nan pozisyon Tès Dyòd la.
- Connect the black test lead to "COM" and the red test lead to "VΩmA".
- Connect the red probe to the anode and the black probe to the cathode of the diode. The display should show a forward voltage drop (typically 0.5V to 0.8V for silicon diodes).
- Reverse the probes. The display should show "OL" (Overload) for a good diode. If it shows a reading in both directions or "OL" in both directions, the diode is likely faulty.
4.6 Tès Kontinuite (•))))
- Mete switch rotary a nan pozisyon Tès Kontinuite a.
- Connect the black test lead to "COM" and the red test lead to "VΩmA".
- Konekte sond tès yo atravè sikwi a oswa konpozan an.
- If the resistance is below approximately 50Ω (this value can vary), the buzzer will sound, indicating continuity. The display will also show the resistance value.

6. Antretyen
6.1 Netwayaj
Siye mèt la casing ak piblisiteamp twal ak yon savon dou. Pa sèvi ak pwodui abrazif oswa solvang. Asire w ke mèt la byen sèk anvan w itilize li.
6.2 Ranplasman batri
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the two AAA batteries as described in Section 3.1. Remove batteries if the meter is not used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
6.3 Ranplasman Fuse
If the current measurement function stops working, the fuse may be blown. Fuses are located inside the meter. Fuse specifications are 500mA/500V for the VΩmA input and 10A/500V for the 10A input. Fuse replacement should only be performed by qualified personnel. Always replace with fuses of the exact same type and rating.
NAN. Depanaj
- Pa gen ekspozisyon: Tcheke enstalasyon pil yo epi asire w pil yo pa fin itilize.
- "OL" on Display: Indicates an overload or out-of-range measurement. Select a higher range or check for an open circuit (for continuity/resistance).
- Lekti ki pa kòrèk:
- Ensure test leads are correctly connected to the appropriate jacks.
- Verify the rotary switch is set to the correct function and range.
- Check if the batteries are low.
- Ensure the component or circuit is properly isolated for resistance/diode tests.
- Mezi aktyèl la pa fonksyone: Check the fuse for the relevant current input (500mA or 10A).
8. Enfòmasyon sou Sekirite
This multimeter is designed to meet safety standards for electrical measuring instruments. However, improper use can result in electric shock or damage to the meter. Always follow these safety guidelines:
- Pa aplike plis pase rated voltage between the input terminals or between any terminal and earth ground.
- Pran anpil prekosyon lè w ap travay ak voltagpi wo pase 30V AC RMS, 42V pik, oswa 60V DC. Volim sa yotages poze yon danje chòk.
- Toujou dekonekte kouran sikwi a epi dechaje tout gwo vòltaj yo.tage capacitors before measuring resistance or continuity.
- Ensure the rotary switch is in the correct position for the measurement being performed.
- Never measure current on a circuit with power applied if the test leads are connected to the "VΩmA" or "10A" jacks and the rotary switch is set to a voltage or resistance function. This can blow the fuse or damage the meter.
- Pa sèvi ak mèt la si li sanble domaje oswa si fil tès yo domaje.
- Adhere to the CAT II 500V and CAT III 300V safety ratings. CAT III is for measurements in building installation (e.g., distribution boards, circuit breakers, wiring, including cables, bus-bars, junction boxes, switches, socket-outlets in the fixed installation, and equipment for industrial use and some other equipment, e.g., stationary motors with permanent connection to the fixed installation). CAT II is for measurements performed on circuits directly connected to the low-voltage installation (e.g., household appliances, portable tools).
- Kenbe dwèt ou dèyè baryè sond yo pandan w ap mezire yo.
