1. Entwodiksyon
This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of the Truper DLT-1700 Flap Disc. Please read these instructions carefully before operating the product. Proper understanding and adherence to these guidelines will ensure optimal performance and user safety.
2. Enfòmasyon sou Sekirite
Always prioritize safety when working with abrasive tools. Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury.
- Ekipman Pwoteksyon Pèsonèl (PPE): Always wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses or a face shield, hearing protection, gloves, and a dust mask, to protect against flying debris, noise, and dust.
- Zouti konpatibilite: Ensure the flap disc is compatible with your angle grinder in terms of size, arbor hole, and maximum RPM. Never exceed the maximum operating speed indicated on the disc.
- Enspeksyon Disk: Before each use, inspect the flap disc for any damage, cracks, or wear. Do not use a damaged disc.
- An sekirite pou pyès travay la: Toujou byen sere pyès ki nan travay la pou anpeche l deplase pandan w ap travay la.
- Bon Montaj: Mount the disc correctly onto the angle grinder spindle, ensuring it is seated properly and tightened with the appropriate flange and nut.
- Evite twòp presyon: Apply moderate, consistent pressure. Excessive force can damage the disc, reduce its lifespan, and lead to loss of control.
- Vantilasyon: Work in a well-ventilated area to minimize inhalation of dust particles.

4. Enstalasyon
Follow these steps to properly install the flap disc on your angle grinder:
- Dekoneksyon pouvwa: Always ensure your angle grinder is unplugged from the power source before attempting any installation or removal of accessories.
- Clean Spindle: Clean the grinder's spindle and flanges to remove any debris that could prevent proper seating of the disc.
- Position Disc: Place the flap disc onto the grinder's spindle, ensuring the arbor hole aligns correctly with the spindle. The label side of the disc should typically face outwards.
- Secure Flange and Nut: Place the outer flange over the disc and thread the locking nut onto the spindle. Use the appropriate wrench (usually provided with the grinder) to tighten the nut securely. Do not overtighten.
- Tcheke wotasyon: Ensure the disc is free to rotate and is properly centered.
5. Operasyon Enstriksyon
Once the flap disc is securely installed, you can begin operation. Always follow the safety guidelines outlined in Section 2.
- Premye kòmansman: Before contacting the workpiece, turn on the angle grinder and allow the disc to reach full operating speed.
- Ang fanm k'ap pile: For optimal performance and disc life, hold the angle grinder at a 15-30 degree angle to the workpiece surface. This allows the flaps to work effectively.
- Mouvman: Move the grinder smoothly and consistently across the workpiece. Avoid dwelling in one spot, which can cause heat buildup and damage to both the disc and the material.
- Retire Materyèl: The 40-grit disc is suitable for aggressive material removal and shaping. For finer finishes, a higher grit disc would be required.
- Refwadisman: Kite disk la refwadi detanzantan pandan w ap itilize li pou yon bon bout tan pou anpeche li chofe twòp.
6. Antretyen
Proper maintenance extends the life of your flap disc and ensures consistent performance.
- Netwayaj: After use, gently brush off any accumulated dust or debris from the disc. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.
- Depo: Sere disk ki gen lam yo nan yon kote ki sèk epi fre, lwen limyè solèy dirèk ak imidite. Kenbe yo nan anbalaj orijinal yo oswa nan yon veso pwoteksyon pou anpeche yo domaje.
- Enspeksyon: Regularly inspect discs for signs of wear, damage, or imbalance. Discard any disc that shows signs of damage or excessive wear.
NAN. Depanaj
Si ou rankontre pwoblèm pandan w ap opere, konsidere pwoblèm ak solisyon komen sa yo:
- Poor Material Removal:
- Kòz: Disc is worn out or incorrect grit for the task.
- Solisyon: Replace the disc or use a coarser grit if more aggressive removal is needed.
- Twòp Vibration:
- Kòz: Disc improperly mounted, damaged, or unbalanced.
- Solisyon: Re-mount the disc, inspect for damage, or replace if necessary.
- Premature Disc Wear:
- Kòz: Excessive pressure, incorrect grinding angle, or using on unsuitable material.
- Solisyon: Reduce pressure, adjust grinding angle, and ensure the disc is appropriate for the material.
