The Feit Electric LED Utility Shop Light offers two primary installation methods: hanging and flush mount.
4.1. Hanging Installation
- Identify the desired location for the shop light. Ensure it is near a power outlet.
- Attach the two 6-inch (15 cm) hanging cables to the designated slots on the top of the shop light fixture.
- Securely attach the other end of the hanging cables to a sturdy overhead structure (e.g., ceiling joists, chains, or hooks) using appropriate hardware (not included, unless specified in package contents). Ensure the fixture is level and stable.
- Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC grounded outlet.
4.2. Flush Mount Installation
- Determine the exact mounting points on the ceiling or wall where the fixture will be installed. Mark these points accurately, ensuring they align with the mounting holes on the fixture.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations, if necessary, suitable for the provided mounting screws.
- Align the fixture's mounting holes with the pilot holes.
- Insert and tighten the two mounting screws to secure the fixture firmly against the surface. Do not overtighten.
- Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC grounded outlet.

The Feit Electric LED Utility Shop Light is designed for simple operation.
- Once properly installed and plugged into a live 120V AC outlet, the light will illuminate instantly.
- To turn the light ON/OFF, use the wall switch connected to the outlet, or unplug the fixture from the outlet. Note: This fixture does not include an integrated ON/OFF switch or pull chain.
- The LED technology provides instant full brightness with no humming.
6. Antretyen
The Feit Electric LED Utility Shop Light requires minimal maintenance.
- Netwayaj: Ensure the fixture is unplugged and cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
