Follow these steps to set up your TL-POE200 kit:
- Prepare the Injector:
- Connect one end of an Ethernet cable from your network switch or router to the LAN port on the PoE Injector.
- Connect the provided power adapter to the Injector's power input port and then plug the adapter into a power outlet. The power LED on the Injector should illuminate.
- Connect Injector to Splitter:
- Run a single Ethernet cable (up to 100 meters / 328 feet) from the PoE port on the Injector to the PoE IN port on the PoE Splitter.
- Configure the Splitter:
- Before connecting your device, use the voltage selector switch on the Splitter to choose the correct DC output voltage (5V, 9V, or 12V) required by your powered device. Refer to your device's specifications for the correct voltage.
- Connect the short DC power cable from the Splitter's DC output port to your powered device's power input port.
- Connect a short Ethernet cable from the Splitter's LAN SOTI port to your powered device's Ethernet port.
