Remove all packaging materials, tape, and protective film from the refrigerator. Clean any adhesive residue with a soft cloth and warm water. Choose a location with a level floor, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Allow at least 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) of space between the refrigerator and adjacent walls or cabinets for proper air circulation.

Flush the dispenser with 3-5 gallons of water after replacement to remove air and carbon fines.
