4.2. Valve Compatibility (Presta and Schrader)
The Zefal Mini Frame Pump is designed to work with both common bicycle valve types:
- Valv Presta: Thinner, typically found on road bikes and higher-end mountain bikes. It has a small locknut at the top that needs to be unscrewed before inflation.
- Valv Schrader: Wider, similar to car tire valves, commonly found on mountain bikes and commuter bikes.
The pump head automatically adapts to both valve types. No manual adjustment is required.

5. Operasyon Enstriksyon
5.1. Preparing the Tire Valve
- For Presta Valves: Unscrew the small locknut at the top of the valve stem counter-clockwise until it is loose. Press down briefly on the valve stem to release a small amount of air, ensuring it is open.
- For Schrader Valves: No special preparation is usually needed, but ensure the valve cap is removed.
5.2. Attaching the Pump to the Valve
- Place the pump head firmly onto the tire valve. Ensure it is pushed down completely and straight.
- Engage the thumb lock lever (if present) by pushing it down or flipping it to secure the pump head to the valve. This creates an airtight seal.
5.3. Inflating the Tire
- Hold the pump barrel firmly with one hand and the ergonomic handle with the other.
- Pump by pushing and pulling the handle smoothly and steadily.
- Continue pumping until the desired tire pressure is reached. Refer to the PSI/Bar recommendation on your tire's sidewall.
5.4. Detaching the Pump
- Once the tire is inflated, disengage the thumb lock lever (if present) by flipping it up or pulling it back.
- Carefully pull the pump head straight off the valve. A small hiss of air is normal.
- For Presta Valves: Screw the locknut back down clockwise until it is finger-tight to seal the valve.
- Replace the valve cap (if applicable).
