• Chanjman MODE: A rotary switch to select the primary effect mode: RM (Ring Modulator), UB (Upper Sideband), LB (Lower Sideband), or PITCH-SHIFT.
• PRESET LEDs (1-9): Indicate the currently active preset.
• PRESET / TUNE Footswitch: Toggles through saved presets. Holding this footswitch down can activate a 'Tune' function, allowing you to adjust the modulator frequency to your pitch.
• BYPASS Footswitch: Engages or bypasses the effect. The ETAI LED indicates whether the effect is active (on) or bypassed (off).

The Ring Thing allows you to save and recall up to 9 presets. To save a preset, adjust the knobs to your desired settings. Then, press and hold the PRESET / TUNE footswitch until the preset LED flashes, indicating the preset has been saved to the currently selected slot.
