- DIR OUT Jack: This output provides a dry (unaffected) signal, allowing for parallel processing or routing to a separate amplifier.
- Antre 9V DC: Connect an optional 9V DC power adapter (center negative) here.
- Lòj batri: To install a 9V battery, press the hinges at the front of the pedal to lift the pedal top. Insert a 9V battery, observing polarity.
Operating the VD400
Once connected, the VD400 is ready for operation. The pedal is activated by pressing the footswitch. The "ON/BATT" LED will illuminate when the effect is active and will also indicate battery status.
Kontwòl:
- REPEAT RATE Knob: This control adjusts the delay time, determining how quickly the echoes occur. Turn clockwise for longer delay times, counter-clockwise for shorter, faster repeats.
- Bouton ENTENSITE: This knob controls the feedback or number of repeats. Turning it clockwise increases the number of echoes, creating a more sustained and swirling delay effect.
- Bouton ECHO: This control adjusts the mix level of the delayed signal with your original dry signal. Turn clockwise to increase the volume of the echoes, counter-clockwise to reduce them.
- Footswitch: Engages or bypasses the delay effect. The "ON/BATT" LED indicates the effect's status.
Experiment with different settings of these three controls to achieve a wide variety of delay sounds, from subtle ambiance to pronounced, rhythmic echoes.
Antretyen
- Netwayaj: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the pedal's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ranplasman batri: When the "ON/BATT" LED dims or the effect performance degrades, replace the 9V battery. Always remove the battery if the pedal will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- Depo: Sere pedal la nan yon kote ki fre epi sèk, lwen limyè solèy dirèk ak tanperati ekstrèm.
