Enstalasyon
Setting up your NTG-2 microphone is straightforward. Follow these steps to get started:
1. Powering the Microphone
The NTG-2 offers dual power options:
- P48 Phantom Power: Connect the microphone to a device (e.g., camera, audio recorder, mixer) that provides 48V phantom power via an XLR cable. The microphone will automatically draw power from this source.
- AA batri: For situations where phantom power is unavailable, the NTG-2 can be powered by a single AA battery. Unscrew the bottom cap of the microphone, insert a fresh AA battery with the correct polarity, and re-secure the cap.

Fonksyone mikwofòn nan
The Rode NTG-2 is a highly directional shotgun microphone, meaning it primarily picks up sound from directly in front of it. This characteristic is crucial for isolating desired audio sources and rejecting off-axis noise.
Plasman Optimal
For best results, aim the microphone directly at your sound source. When used on a boom pole, position the microphone just out of frame, pointing towards the speaker's mouth. When mounted on a camera, ensure the microphone is pointed towards the subject.
