The KB300PRO controller provides precise, real-time control over multiple cameras with its 7-inch LCD screen and 4D joystick.
This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your Tenveo VHDMAX Series camera and KB300PRO controller to ensure optimal performance.
2. Enstriksyon Enstalasyon
2.1 PTZ Camera Setup
- Koneksyon pouvwa: Connect the camera to a power source using the provided DC 12V/2A adapter. Alternatively, if using a PoE-enabled network, connect the camera to a PoE switch via an Ethernet cable. The camera supports PoE (802.3af) for simplified wiring.
- Sòti videyo: Connect the camera to your display or capture device using one of the available video output interfaces:
- HDMI: For direct connection to a monitor or video switcher.
- SDI: For professional long-distance video transmission.
- USB 3.0: For direct connection to a computer for video conferencing or streaming.
- LAN (RJ45): For IP streaming and control, supporting PoE.
- Antre / Sòti odyo: If external audio is required, connect an audio device (not included) to the 3.5mm LINE IN interface. The LINE OUT interface can be used to send audio to an external speaker or mixer.

2.2 KB300PRO IP PTZ Camera Joystick Controller Setup
- Koneksyon pouvwa: Connect the KB300PRO controller to a DC 12V-2A power source or use PoE by connecting it to a PoE-enabled network switch via the RJ45 Ethernet port.
- Rezo Koneksyon: Connect the controller to your network via the Ethernet/RJ45 port. This allows IP control of PTZ cameras.
- Serial Control: For serial control of cameras, connect the controller to the camera(s) using RS232 or RS485/RS422 ports. The controller supports VISCA/PELCO-D/PELCO-P protocols.

2.3 Inisyal Konfigirasyon
After connecting the camera to your LAN, you can access its IP address via a web browser to configure settings. This allows for detailed camera adjustments and integration into your streaming or conferencing software (e.g., OBS, vMix, YouTube, Facebook).

3. Operasyon Enstriksyon
3.1 PTZ Camera Operation
- Mouvman Pan/Tilt: The camera can be remotely controlled to rotate 350° (±175°) horizontally and 180° (±90°) vertically. This movement is designed to be smooth and silent.
- Kontwòl Zoom: Utilize the 30x optical zoom for detailed close-ups and the 8x digital zoom for further magnification.
- Prereglaj: Up to 255 preset positions can be configured via RS232 and RS485 interfaces, allowing for quick recall of specific camera angles and zoom levels.
- AI Auto-Tracking: To enable AI Auto-tracking, press the dedicated [AI] button on the remote or controller. The camera will enter autoframing mode and begin tracking. Press the [AI] button again to turn off autoframing. In autoframing mode, you can track a single object or switch between different objects using the PTZ Control Keys.
- Kalite Imaj: The camera features 2D and 3D noise reduction technology, ensuring clear images even in low-light conditions.

3.2 KB300PRO Controller Operation

- Q: Will the green box always appear during the AI process?
- A: If you use a USB connection to display, the green box will not be displayed on the screen. It will be displayed when using HDMI or other connection methods.
- Q: Is the PTZ Camera compatible with Blackmagic devices?
- A: Yes, Tenveo PTZ Cameras are compatible with Blackmagic devices and IP PTZ Camera controllers. They are also compatible with OBS and other live video streaming software, supporting multi-camera video production and live streaming to YouTube, Facebook, and more.
- Q: Can the camera be mounted upside down on the ceiling?
- A: The PTZ conference camera is designed for an upright, vertical orientation and installation on a flat, level surface or tripod. While some models may support inverted mounting with specific settings, the standard design is for desktop, tripod, or PC mounting.
