5. Freeze Frame Data
When an emission-related fault occurs, the ECU stores certain vehicle operating conditions at that moment. This "freeze frame" data can be viewed to understand the conditions under which the fault occurred.
6. O2 Sensor Test
Monitors and displays the results of oxygen sensor tests, which are critical for emission control and fuel efficiency.
7. On-Board Monitoring Test (Mode 6)
Accesses the results of on-board diagnostic monitoring tests for specific non-continuously monitored systems.
8. Tès Sistèm EVAP
Performs tests on the Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP) to detect fuel vapor leaks.
9. Enfòmasyon sou Veyikil la
Retrieves important vehicle identification information such as the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Calibration ID (CIN), and Calibration Verification Number (CVN).

Depanaj
-
Aparèy pa limen:
Ensure the KW680 is securely connected to the vehicle's 16-pin OBDII diagnostic port. Verify that the vehicle's ignition is turned on. The device draws power directly from the OBDII port.
-
"Check Engine Light" (MIL) Remains On After Clearing Codes:
If the MIL remains on, it indicates that the underlying issue causing the fault code has not been resolved. Diagnose and repair the vehicle's problem before attempting to clear codes again. Some monitors may also require a drive cycle to reset.
-
Communication Error with Vehicle:
Check the connection to the OBDII port. Ensure the vehicle is OBDII compliant (generally 1996 and newer in the USA, 2004+ in Europe, 2006+ in Japan, 2011+ in China). Refer to the "Vehicle Compatibility" section for specific exclusions. Try connecting to a different OBDII compliant vehicle if possible to rule out a device issue.
-
Software Update Fails:
Ensure your PC is running a compatible Windows operating system (XP, 7, 8, 10). Temporarily disable any anti-virus software before running the "uplink" program. Verify a stable internet connection during the update process.
