6.1 Evacuation Mode

This mode is used for measuring the pressure during the evacuation process of a refrigeration system, assessing the current vacuum state.

  1. Power on the LM100.
  2. If not already in Evacuation Mode, press and hold the 🔊 / 💡 Button (E) for 2 seconds to cycle through measurement modes until 'Evacuation' is displayed.
  3. Connect the LM100 to the system being evacuated.

6.2 Pressure Leak Test Mode

This mode is used to test the leak tightness and sealing integrity of a refrigeration system.

  1. Power on the LM100.
  2. If not already in Pressure Leak Test Mode, press and hold the 🔊 / 💡 Button (E) for 2 seconds to cycle through measurement modes until 'Pressure Leak Test' is displayed.
  3. Connect the LM100 to the system under test.

To switch between different vacuum units (Hpa, mbar, Torr, inHg) or temperature units (°C, °F, K):

The LM100 can connect to and transmit data with the AUTOOL LM130 refrigerant manifold gauge for enhanced diagnostic capabilities.

  1. Connect the LM100 to the LM130 using the provided communication cable via the Communication interface (A).
