3. Gid Enstalasyon
3.1 Enstalasyon Fizik
- Montaj: Secure the flight controller to your drone frame using the 30.5x30.5mm mounting holes. Ensure proper vibration isolation, typically using rubber grommets or standoffs.
- Oryantasyon: Pay attention to the arrow on the flight controller board, which indicates the forward direction of the drone. This is crucial for correct flight behavior.
3.2 Koneksyon fil elektrik
Refer to the detailed wiring diagram below for connecting your components. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly polarized to prevent damage.

- Antre pouvwa: Connect your 2-6S LiPo battery to the VBAT pads on a Power Distribution Board (PDB) or directly to the flight controller if it has integrated power pads. The flight controller provides 5V/3A and 9V/3A BEC outputs for peripherals.
- ESC yo: Connect the signal wires from your Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs) to the M1-M4 (or more, depending on your setup) motor output pads. The flight controller supports Dshot protocols.
- Reseptè: Connect your receiver (SBUS, PPM, or Spektrum DSMX) to the designated receiver pads. For SBUS, it can be used directly. For PPM, ensure proper configuration as shown in the diagram.
- Transmetè Videyo (VTX) ak Kamera: Connect your FPV camera and VTX to the respective video input/output pads. The flight controller includes on-board video filters for cleaner video feed (5V to VTX and camera only).
- OSD: The integrated OSD allows for on-screen display of flight data. It is configured via Betaflight.
- GPS/Compass: Connect GPS and compass modules to the UART1 and I2C UART3 ports respectively, following the diagram. Note that the transmitter and receiver for GPS UART1 can only be used one at a time.
- Kat MicroSD: Insert a MicroSD card into the slot for blackbox flight logging.
3.3 Software Configuration (Betaflight)
- Konekte ak PC: Connect the flight controller to your computer using a micro-USB cable.
- Enstale chofè yo: Ensure you have the necessary Betaflight drivers installed.
- Firmwèr Flash: Open the Betaflight Configurator. Select the OMNIBUSF4SD target and flash the latest stable Betaflight firmware.
- Premye konfigirasyon: Follow the Betaflight setup wizard to configure basic settings, including accelerometer calibration, ESC protocol (e.g., Dshot600), receiver type, and motor directions.
- OSD Configuration: Use the OSD tab in Betaflight Configurator to customize the on-screen display elements.
- PID Tuning: Adjust PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) values as needed for optimal flight performance. The F4 processor allows for advanced tuning.
4. Operasyon Enstriksyon
- Chèk anvan vòl: Before each flight, ensure all connections are secure, propellers are correctly installed, and battery is fully charged.
- Ame: Arm your drone using the configured switch on your transmitter. The OSD will typically indicate the arming status.
- Vòl: Fly your drone responsibly and within legal limits. The F4 V3S Plus provides precise control and stable flight characteristics.
- Blackbox Logging: The MicroSD card will record flight data, which can be analyzed later using the Betaflight Blackbox Explorer for tuning and troubleshooting.
- Dezame: Disarm your drone after landing using the configured switch.
5. Antretyen
- Kenbe pwòp epi sèk: Protect the flight controller from dust, moisture, and extreme temperatures. Clean gently with a soft brush if necessary.
- Enspekte Koneksyon: Regularly check all soldered connections and plugs for signs of wear, corrosion, or looseness.
- Mizajou mikrolojisyèl: Periodically check for new Betaflight firmware releases. Updating can provide performance improvements, new features, and bug fixes. Always back up your configuration before updating.
- Enspeksyon fizik: Inspect the board for any visible damage, such as cracked components or traces, especially after a crash.
NAN. Depanaj
- Pa gen pouvwa: Check battery connection, polarity, and ensure the flight controller receives power. Verify BEC outputs if peripherals are not powering on.
- Pa gen koneksyon ak konfigiratè Betaflight la: Ensure correct USB drivers are installed. Try a different USB cable or port.
- Drone Not Arming: Check Betaflight's 'Motors' tab for motor output issues. Verify receiver input in the 'Receiver' tab. Check 'Modes' tab for correct arming switch configuration. Review 'Setup' tab for accelerometer calibration.
- Vòl enstab: Review PID tuning. Check for loose propellers or motor issues. Analyze blackbox logs for insights into flight performance.
- Pa gen ekspozisyon OSD: Verify OSD settings in Betaflight Configurator. Check video connections between camera, FC, and VTX.
- Receiver Issues: Ensure the receiver is correctly bound to your transmitter and connected to the correct UART/pad on the flight controller. Verify the receiver protocol is selected in Betaflight.
7. Konsèy itilizatè yo
- Fè yon backup konfigirasyon ou an: Always save a full dump and diff all of your Betaflight configuration before making major changes or firmware updates. This allows for quick restoration if issues arise.
- Start with Default PIDs: For initial flights, it's often best to start with Betaflight's default PID settings for your frame size and then fine-tune gradually.
- Use Blackbox: Leverage the MicroSD blackbox logging feature to diagnose flight issues and refine your PID tunes. It provides invaluable data.
- Insulate Properly: Ensure all exposed solder joints and connections are properly insulated with heat shrink or electrical tape to prevent short circuits.
