The Owon SDS1000 Series Digital Oscilloscopes are super-economical, high-performance instruments designed for a wide range of applications including electronic circuit debugging, circuit testing, design and manufacture, education and training, and automobile maintenance. This series features a compact, ultra-thin body and a 7-inch high-resolution LCD display, offering excellent portability and clear waveform visualization. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your Owon SDS1000 Series oscilloscope.

  • Math Button: Accesses waveform math functions (FFT, +, -, ×, ÷, invert).

4. Enstalasyon

Upon receiving your Owon SDS1000 Series oscilloscope, carefully unpack all components and inspect for any signs of damage during transit. Retain the packaging materials for future transport or storage.

4.2 Koneksyon pouvwa

  1. Ensure the oscilloscope's power switch is in the OFF position.
  2. Connect the provided power cable to the AC Power Input Jack on the rear panel of the oscilloscope.
  3. Plug the other end of the power cable into a grounded AC power outlet.

4.3 Probe Connection and Compensation

  1. Connect the probe(s) to the desired Signal Input Channel(s) (CH1, CH2, etc.) on the front panel.
  2. Attach the probe ground clip to the circuit's ground point.
  3. Konpansasyon Sond: For accurate measurements, it is crucial to compensate your probes. Connect the probe tip to the Probe Compensation terminal on the front panel. Adjust the compensation screw on the probe until a flat-top square wave is displayed on the screen.

5. Operasyon Enstriksyon

  • To power on, press the Power ON/OFF button on the front panel.
  • To power off, press the Power ON/OFF button again.

5.5 Waveform Math and FFT

  • Math Operations: Perform operations like addition (+), subtraction (-), multiplication (×), division (÷), and inversion on waveforms.

5.6 Waveform Storage

The oscilloscope can store up to 16 waveforms in its internal memory. Saved waveforms can be compared and analyzed against current measurements.

5.7 Seleksyon Lang

The oscilloscope supports multiple languages. To change the language, navigate through the menu using the Multipurpose Knob and Menu Selection Buttons to find the 'Language' setting and select your preferred option.

5.8 PC Connectivity

The SDS1000 Series supports SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments) and LabVIEW for communication with a host computer. Connect the oscilloscope to your PC using the provided USB cable via the USB Device Port on the rear panel. This allows for remote control, data transfer, and advanced analysis.
