The T238 1.9 Digital Trigger Unit (DTU) is an advanced programmable MOSFET module designed to enhance the performance of AIRSOFT and Gel Ball Blaster V2 Gearboxes. It integrates a high-speed processor and two high-power MOSFET chips to provide a range of features including binary trigger, automatic magazine loading, overheating protection, and gearbox stall protection. This unit significantly improves the stability, shooting speed, and response time of your gearbox, while also contributing to increased battery durability and preventing gear over-rotation.

  • This product requires soldering and wiring. Incorrect installation can damage the unit or the connected device.

3.2 Wiring and Soldering

The DTU comes with pre-attached wiring. However, integration into your gearbox will require soldering connections to the motor and battery terminals. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent short circuits. The wiring uses aviation-grade Teflon lines, which are resistant to folding, wear, high temperatures, and offer low impedance.

4.1 Binary Trigger Mode

To activate the binary trigger mode:

  1. Set the selector switch to the semi-auto position.

This function is designed for gel ball blaster magazines equipped with an internal motor. When you change the magazine, the magazine motor will automatically run for 0.5 seconds to pre-supply gel balls into the tee. This ensures consistent feeding.

4.3 Active Braking

The active braking feature uses the motor's inertia to stop the piston without delay. This is particularly effective with high-torque motors. It also prevents gear over-rotation, ensuring that single shots remain single shots even under high voltage, and allows the spring to fully release in semi-auto mode, reducing strain on gearbox components and extending their lifespan.
