4.2 Derailleur Mounting

The B-tension screw adjusts the gap between the upper jockey wheel and the cassette cogs.

1. Shift the chain to the largest cog on the cassette.
2. Adjust the B-tension screw until there is a gap of approximately 5-6mm between the top of the largest cog and the top of the upper jockey wheel. This ensures smooth shifting and prevents the jockey wheel from rubbing the cassette.
