It also incorporates advanced voltage monitoring to prevent car battery discharge.

4.1. Prepare pou Enstalasyon

  1. Ensure your vehicle is turned off and the battery is in good condition.
  2. Verify your car battery is compatible with the Charger 2 (should be a standard 12V or 24V car battery, or two 12V batteries connected in series).

  4. Gather all necessary tools: gloves, screwdriver, wrench, utility knife, and zip ties.

  2. Connect Input Cables to Charger 2:

    • Connect the red cable (BAT+) to the 'Input+' terminal and the black cable (BAT-) to the 'Input-' terminal on the Charger 2.
    • Tighten the screws using the provided hex key to secure the connections.
  3. Connect MC4 Output Cable to Charger 2:
    • Connect the red MC4 cable (Output+) to the 'Output+' terminal and the black MC4 cable (Output-) to the 'Output-' terminal on the Charger 2.
    • Tighten the screws using the provided hex key.
  4. Connect Charger 2 to Power Station: Connect the MC4 output cable from the Charger 2 to the DC input port (e.g., INPUT/MPPT) of your BLUETTI power station. Ensure the power station is compatible with the Charger 2's output voltage.
  5. Connect Charger 2 to Car Battery:
    • Route the car battery cable from the Charger 2 through the vehicle's firewall to the engine compartment. Locate an existing entry point or create a new one if necessary, ensuring proper sealing.
    • Connect the OT terminals of the car battery cable to your vehicle's battery terminals. Connect the red cable (BAT+) to the positive (+) terminal and the black cable (BAT-) to the negative (-) terminal. Securely tighten the connections.

4.3. Activate the Charger 2

  3. The Charger 2 will automatically detect the vehicle's alternator and begin charging. The green indicator light on the Charger 2 will flash rapidly during startup and then become solid green when charging successfully.

The BLUETTI app allows for smart monitoring and control of your Charger 2. You can monitor input/output power, adjust charging voltage, and manage various settings directly from your smartphone.

  1. Download the BLUETTI app from your device's app store (search for 'BLUETTI').
