2. Antèn Koneksyon

The UV-98 Plus comes with a dual-band antenna, a MW antenna, and a SW antenna. Select the appropriate antenna for your desired frequency range.

2. Screw the chosen antenna clockwise onto the connector until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The UV-98 Plus supports rapid Type-C fast charging.

1. Connect the Type-C charging cable to the USB-C port on the side of the radio.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the provided power supply with a USB port, or a compatible USB power source.
3. The charging indicator on the radio will illuminate, typically red during charging and green when fully charged.
4. A full charge from 0% to 100% typically takes approximately 2 hours.

1. Power On/Off

• To power on: Rotate the power/volume knob clockwise until you hear a click and the display illuminates.
• To power off: Rotate the power/volume knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click and the display turns off.

The UV-98 Plus supports 1024 programmable channels and direct frequency input.

• Mòd frekans (VFO): Enter the desired frequency directly using the numeric keypad. The radio operates within FCC-authorized bands 144-148Mhz and 420-450Mhz for transmission.

4. Transmission and Reception

• Resepsyon: When a signal is received on the selected frequency/channel, the radio will automatically output the audio.
