4.1 Chaje Aparèy la

Before first use, fully charge the HIBREW H4C Classic using the provided USB-C charging cable. The battery indicator on the LCD display will show the charging status. A full charge allows for approximately 3-5 hot brews from cold water, or over 200 brews if using preheated water.

4.2 Netwayaj Premye

Before brewing coffee for the first time, perform a cleaning cycle. Fill the water tank with clean water (do not add coffee), then run the machine without a pod or ground coffee. This will flush out any manufacturing residues.

The HIBREW H4C Classic supports two brewing methods: using coffee pods (NS Original Pods) or ground coffee, and two brewing modes: Hot Brew (self-heating) and Direct Brew (using preheated water).

5.1 Preparing Coffee

  • For Coffee Pods: Insert an NS Original Pod into the designated basket.

After preparing your coffee, insert the basket into the adapter and tighten it securely onto the machine.

Unscrew the water tank and fill it with water. The maximum capacity is 100ml (3.4oz) for a double shot espresso. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.

5.3 Selecting Brew Mode

Place a cup under the machine's nozzle. The H4C Classic offers two brewing modes:

  • Hot Brew (Self-Heating): For brewing with cold or room temperature water. Double-click the Hot Brew button (indicated by three wavy lines). The machine will heat the water to 95℃ (adjustable between 85-95℃) and then automatically brew. This process takes approximately 3-5 minutes.
  • Direct Brew: For brewing with preheated hot water. Double-click the Direct Brew button (indicated by a snowflake icon). The machine will brew instantly without heating the water.

The machine operates at 20-bar pressure to ensure rich crema and full flavor extraction. You can adjust the extraction time between 25-75 seconds for personalized brew strength.

6.2 Descaling (Periodic)

Depending on water hardness and frequency of use, descaling may be required periodically. Use a descaling solution suitable for coffee machines and follow the manufacturer's instructions. Run the descaling solution through the machine, followed by several cycles of clean water to rinse thoroughly.
