5. Enstalasyon ak Enstalasyon
Installation of the GEYA GYR10N-40 RCBO must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Incorrect installation can lead to serious injury or damage to property.
Etap enstalasyon:
- Dekoneksyon pouvwa: Ensure that the main power supply to the circuit where the RCBO will be installed is completely disconnected and locked out.
- Montaj: Mount the RCBO onto a standard DIN rail within an appropriate electrical enclosure. Ensure it is securely clipped into place.
- Koneksyon fil elektrik:
- Connect the incoming neutral (N IN) and live (L IN) wires to the top terminals of the RCBO.
- Connect the outgoing neutral (N OUT) and live (L OUT) wires to the bottom terminals of the RCBO.
- Ensure all screw-type terminals are tightened to the manufacturer's specified torque to ensure a stable and secure electrical connection and prevent loose connections that can cause overheating.
- Verifikasyon: Double-check all wiring for correctness and security.
- Retablisman pouvwa: Yon fwa enstalasyon an fini epi li verifye, retabli kouran an nan sikwi a.

6. Operasyon Enstriksyon
Limen/Etenyen:
- To turn the circuit ON, push the operating lever upwards to the 'I' (ON) position.
- To turn the circuit OFF, push the operating lever downwards to the 'O' (OFF) position.
Bouton tès:
The RCBO is equipped with a test button (usually marked 'T' or 'TEST'). This button simulates an earth leakage fault to verify the proper functioning of the residual current protection mechanism.
- Tès chak mwa: It is recommended to press the test button at least once a month.
- When the test button is pressed, the RCBO should immediately trip (switch to the 'OFF' position).
- If the RCBO does not trip, it indicates a malfunction, and the device should be replaced immediately.
- After testing, reset the RCBO by pushing the lever to the 'ON' position.
7. Antretyen
The GEYA GYR10N-40 RCBO requires minimal maintenance. Regular checks ensure continued safety and performance.
- Enspeksyon vizyèl: Enspekte RCBO a detanzantan pou nenpòt siy domaj fizik, dekolorasyon, oswa koneksyon ki lach.
- Test Button Operation: Perform the monthly test button operation as described in the Operating Instructions section.
- Netwayaj: If necessary, gently clean the exterior of the RCBO with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure power is disconnected before cleaning.
- Enspeksyon pwofesyonèl: It is advisable to have a qualified electrician inspect your electrical system, including RCBOs, periodically (e.g., every 3-5 years).
NAN. Depanaj
Vwayaj RCBO yo souvan:
- Surcharge: If the RCBO trips due to an overload, it means the total current drawn by connected devices exceeds the RCBO's rated current (16A). Disconnect some devices or redistribute the load.
- Kout sikwi: A short circuit indicates a direct connection between live and neutral wires, or live and earth. This requires immediate investigation by a qualified electrician to locate and repair the fault.
- Flit tè: If the RCBO trips due to earth leakage, it detects current flowing to earth. This could be due to faulty appliances, damaged wiring insulation, or moisture. Disconnect appliances one by one to identify the faulty one. If the issue persists, consult an electrician.
- Nuisance Tripping: In some cases, sensitive electronic equipment or transient surges can cause nuisance tripping. Ensure all connections are secure and the RCBO is correctly rated for the circuit.
RCBO Does Not Trip During Test:
- If the RCBO does not trip when the test button is pressed, the residual current protection mechanism is faulty. The device must be replaced immediately by a qualified electrician.
RCBO pa Reyajiste:
- If the RCBO trips and cannot be reset, it indicates a persistent fault (overload, short circuit, or earth leakage) in the circuit. Do not force the lever. Investigate the cause of the trip before attempting to reset. If the fault cannot be identified or resolved, contact a qualified electrician.
