The ILM LP03 is a multi-functional system helmet designed to offer both the security of a full-face helmet and the openness of a jet helmet. It features a durable ABS shell, a comfortable removable interior, and a versatile shield system for various riding conditions.

• Dual Shield System: Equipped with a clear outer shield and a UV-cut black inner shield as standard, providing comfort in strong sunlight. The ratchet mechanism allows for adjustable opening and closing angles.
• Enteryè detachable ak lave: Inner pads are easily detachable for cleaning, ensuring hygiene and freshness. The soft interior with excellent cushioning and holding properties provides a comfortable fit.
• Konpatibilite entèkom: Designed with dedicated spaces around the ears for speakers, microphone storage, Pinlock 30 installation, and helmet lock, enhancing user convenience.

2. Setup and Fit

2.1 Gid pou gwosè

To ensure optimal safety and comfort, select the correct helmet size. Measure your head circumference using a tape measure, placing it just above your eyebrows and ears, around the widest part of your head.

2.2 Premye Enspeksyon

Before first use, inspect the helmet for any visible damage, ensuring all components are securely attached. Check the chin strap, shields, and ventilation mechanisms for proper function.

2.3 Mete kas la

1. Grasp the chin straps and pull them apart to widen the helmet opening.
2. Place the helmet on your head, ensuring it sits firmly and comfortably.
3. Fasten the chin strap securely. The strap should be snug but not uncomfortably tight.
4. Perform a fit check: With the chin strap fastened, try to roll the helmet off your head from front to back. If it comes off easily, the helmet is too large or not properly secured.

3. Operasyon Enstriksyon

3.1 Chin Bar Operation (Modular Function)

The LP03 helmet features a modular design, allowing the chin bar to be raised for an open-face configuration. To raise the chin bar, locate the red button near the mouth area and press it. The chin bar will unlock and can be pivoted upwards. To return to full-face mode, pull the chin bar down until it securely latches into place.

3.2 Shield System (Outer and Inner Visor)

The helmet is equipped with a clear outer shield and a retractable black inner sun visor. The outer shield can be adjusted to various open positions using its ratchet mechanism. The inner sun visor can be deployed or retracted using a slider mechanism located on the side of the helmet, providing instant sun protection.

3.3 Sistèm vantilasyon

The LP03 helmet features multiple adjustable vents to control airflow. The mouth shutter, forehead vents, and rear exhaust vents can be opened or closed to optimize ventilation and reduce heat buildup and fogging inside the helmet.

Clean the helmet's exterior with a soft cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the helmet's finish and materials.

4.2 Cleaning the Shields

Remove the outer shield for cleaning. Use a soft cloth and warm water with a small amount of mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. The inner sun visor can be wiped gently with a soft, damp twal.

4.3 Removable Interior Cleaning

The inner pads are designed for easy removal and washing. Detach the pads from the helmet and hand wash them with mild soap and cool water. Allow them to air dry completely before reinserting them into the helmet. This helps maintain hygiene and comfort.

5.1 Shield Fogging

• Ensure all ventilation vents are open to maximize airflow.
• Consider installing a Pinlock 30 anti-fog insert (sold separately) into the designated space on the outer shield.
• Slightly open the outer shield to allow more air circulation.

5.2 Chin Bar Not Latching

• Ensure no obstructions are preventing the chin bar from fully closing.
• Apply firm, even pressure when closing the chin bar until you hear a click, indicating it is securely latched.

5.3 Koupe lach

• Ensure the chin strap is properly tightened.
• If the helmet still feels loose, it may be the incorrect size. Refer to the sizing guide in Section 2.1.
