If your original reverse camera is not functioning correctly after installation, you may need to adjust the camera type setting:

1. Navigate to the adapter's settings menu.
2. Select 'Car Settings' or 'Camera Settings'.
3. Locate 'Camera Type' and ensure 'OE Camera' (Original Equipment Camera) is selected. By default, it might be set to 'After Market Camera'.

You can switch between the CarPlay/Android Auto interface and the original OEM car interface by selecting the 'OEM' icon on the adapter's main menu.
