The NE55 requires a 14 AMP/240 Volt electrical connection. All electrical work must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with national and local electrical codes. Ensure the circuit can handle the heat pump's power consumption (approximately 880 watts at 110V, or 14 Amps at 240V, depending on configuration) in addition to other pool equipment (e.g., pool pump) to prevent circuit breaker trips.
An outdoor-rated, solid (not stranded) grounding wire (at least 12 gauge) must be attached to the unit and your ground, similar to the pool pump. Consult local codes for conduit requirements.

The unit includes 1 1/2" quick connections for water lines. The heat pump should be installed after the pool filter and before any chemical feeders. The typical plumbing configuration is: Pool → Pool Pump → Filter → Heat Pump → Pool. 4. Operasyon

Before starting the heat pump, ensure your pool pump is running and water is circulating through the system. The heat pump requires water flow to operate correctly. The NE55 is compatible with 2-Wire Systems.
4.2 Digital Control Board
The unit features a digital control board for adjusting settings, including the desired pool temperature. Refer to the detailed instructions provided with the unit for specific navigation and setting adjustments. The factory default temperature setting may be high; adjust it to your preferred pool temperature (e.g., 94°F) to prevent continuous operation.

- Inspect water connections for leaks or damage regularly.

It is normal for the heat pump to produce condensation (water drainage) during operation, especially in humid conditions. This is not a leak. The unit can drain up to 10 gallons per hour depending on humidity levels. To verify if drainage is condensation or a leak, test the water with a pool chlorine strip; if no chlorine, it is condensation.

Before freezing temperatures arrive, it is crucial to properly winterize your heat pump. Consult a pool professional or refer to specific winterization guidelines for your region. Generally, this involves draining all water from the unit and plumbing lines to prevent freeze damage.
