1. Mete pil
The Instax Mini 12 requires two AA batteries. Open the battery compartment, typically located on the side or bottom of the camera, and insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-).

1. Powering On / Off
To turn the camera on, simply twist the lens barrel. Twist it further to engage Selfie Mode. To turn the camera off, twist the lens barrel back to its original position.

Once the camera is on, frame your shot using the viewfinder. Press the shutter button to capture the image. The photo will automatically eject from the top of the camera.

3. Selfie Mode and Close-Up Shots
For selfies, twist the lens barrel until it clicks into the "Selfie Mode" position. Use the small mirror located next to the lens to compose your shot. This mode also allows for close-up photography, focusing on subjects between 11.8 inches (30 cm) and 19.7 inches (50 cm).

4. Developing Photos
After a photo is taken, it will eject from the camera. Allow the photo to develop naturally in a warm environment. Development typically takes approximately 90 seconds. Do not shake or bend the film during development.

Use a soft, dry cloth, such as the included Sunshine Photo cleaning cloth, to gently wipe the camera body and lens. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the camera's surface or lens coating.

Photos Are Too Dark or Too Bright
- The Instax Mini 12 has automatic exposure. Ensure the flash is not obstructed.
- Avoid shooting in extremely dark environments beyond the camera's capabilities.
- For very bright conditions, ensure the subject is not backlit.

- Ensure you are using Selfie Mode for close-up shots (11.8 to 19.7 inches).
- Maintain a stable grip on the camera when pressing the shutter button.
- Avoid shooting subjects that are too close or too far for the camera's fixed focus range (0.3m to infinity in normal mode).
