1. Debake

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.

2. Guide Bar and Chain Installation

  1. Ensure the engine is off and the chain brake is engaged.
  2. Remove the chain cover by loosening the two nuts.
  3. Place the guide bar onto the studs, ensuring the chain tension pin aligns with the hole in the guide bar.
  4. Carefully fit the chain around the clutch drum and into the groove of the guide bar. Ensure the cutting edges of the chain are facing forward in the direction of rotation.
  5. Replace the chain cover and hand-tighten the nuts. Do not fully tighten yet.

  1. Using the chain tensioning screw (usually located on the side of the chainsaw), adjust the chain tension.
  2. The chain should be snug against the guide bar, but still able to be pulled freely by hand. There should be no slack on the underside of the bar, and the drive links should be seated in the bar groove.

Refer to the engine oil manufacturer's instructions for the correct mixing ratio (typically 25:1 or 50:1, depending on the oil type). Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 90 or higher.

  3. Carefully fill the fuel tank with the correct gasoline/oil mixture (capacity: 260 ml).
  4. Fill the chain oil tank with high-quality chain lubricant (capacity: 210 ml). This oil lubricates the chain and guide bar during operation.
  5. Securely replace both caps. Wipe up any spills immediately.
