The BEMIS Teramo toilet seat is designed for easy top-fixing installation. Please follow these steps carefully.

- Clean the toilet bowl rim thoroughly before installation.
- Confirm the dimensions of your toilet bowl match the specifications of the Teramo seat (refer to Figure 2).

4.1. Soft-Close Function
The BEMIS Teramo toilet seat is equipped with an integrated soft-close mechanism. To activate, simply push the lid or seat down gently. The soft-close hinges will automatically lower the lid and seat slowly and quietly, preventing slamming and reducing wear and tear. Do not force the lid or seat down, as this can damage the soft-close mechanism.

4.2. Quick-Release for Cleaning
For thorough cleaning, the seat can be easily removed from the hinges using the quick-release function.
- Locate the quick-release buttons or levers near the hinges.
- Press the buttons or lift the levers to disengage the seat from the hinge posts.
- Lift the seat straight up to remove it.
- After cleaning, align the seat with the hinge posts and press down firmly until it clicks back into place.
