Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge your Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition. Use the included USB-C charging cable to connect your device to a power adapter (sold separately) or a computer's USB port. The device fully charges in less than 2.5 hours with a 9W USB power adapter.

The Signature Edition also supports wireless charging. Place your Kindle on a compatible wireless charging dock (sold separately) to charge conveniently.

2. Powering On / Off

• To power on, press and hold the power button located on the bottom edge of the device for a few seconds until the screen lights up.
• To put the device to sleep, briefly press the power button. The screen will display a screensaver.
• To power off completely, press and hold the power button until a power dialog appears, then select "Power Off".

2. Downloading and Managing Content

Your Kindle has 32 GB of on-device storage, capable of holding thousands of books. All Amazon content is also stored in free cloud storage.

• Kindle Store: Access millions of titles directly from your device. Tap the "Store" icon on the Home screen to browse, sample, and purchase books.
• Your Library: All purchased and downloaded content appears in your Library. You can filter by downloaded, unread, or collections.

Your Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition supports Audible audiobooks. Connect Bluetooth headphones or speakers to listen to your audiobooks. Note that Audible audiobook streaming over Bluetooth will reduce battery life.
