Connect the provided US Type Power Adapter to the DMX192 Controller's power input. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet (9-12V DC universal power supply). The unit will display "192" upon initial power-up, indicating its channel capacity, then switch to "101" for operation.

2. DMX Addressing of Fixtures

Before connecting fixtures to the DMX192 controller, ensure each DMX lighting fixture is assigned a unique DMX address. This can typically be done using DIP switches or the fixture's onboard display. Avoid overlapping DMX addresses to prevent control conflicts. For example, if a fixture uses 8 channels, the first fixture might start at address 1, the second at 9, and so on.

3. Connecting DMX Fixtures

Connect your DMX lighting fixtures to the DMX192 Controller using 3-pin XLR DMX cables. Connect the DMX output of the controller to the DMX input of the first fixture, then daisy-chain from the DMX output of the first fixture to the DMX input of the next, and so on. Ensure all connections are secure.

The DMX192 features a user-friendly layout. Familiarize yourself with the main components:

• Channel Selection Sticks (Faders): 8 faders control DMX channels 1-8.
• Scene Switcher Buttons (1-12): Select different banks of channels or programmed scenes.

• Function Selection Area: Buttons for various modes and settings.
• Speed/Time Selection Faders: Control the speed and fade time of chase sequences.

To control DMX channels 1-8, ensure the "1" button in the Scene Switcher area is illuminated. Adjust the 8 faders to control the intensity or specific parameters of your DMX fixtures corresponding to those channels. For channels 9-16, press the "2" button in the Scene Switcher area, and the faders will now control channels 9-16, and so on for other banks.

3. Programming Scenes and Chase Sequences

The DMX192 allows for programming up to 240 scenes across 23 banks. Refer to the detailed programming instructions in the included user manual for specific steps on how to record and save scenes and create chase sequences. Chase sequences can be triggered by sound, manually by tap, or automatically with adjustable time faders (0.1 seconds to 10 minutes).

4. Blackout Function

Press the "Blackout" button to immediately turn off all DMX output from the controller. Press it again to restore the previous lighting state.
