5.2 Attaching the Probe

1. Ensure the main unit is powered off.
2. Align the connector of the gooseneck probe with the probe port on the main unit.
3. Gently push the connector in until it clicks securely into place.
4. To detach, press the release button (if present) or pull firmly but carefully on the connector.
