It features a reflective silver interior and includes a translucent front diffuser and honeycomb grid for versatile light shaping.

3.1 Unfolding the Softbox

1. Remove the softbox from its carry bag.
2. Hold the softbox by the Bowens mount adapter.
3. Gently push the central ring of the Bowens mount adapter downwards until the softbox rods click into place, expanding the octagfòm onal.

3.2 Attaching Diffusers

The honeycomb grid can be attached to the outer edge of the softbox, over the outer diffuser, using its hook-and-loop fasteners. This accessory helps to control light spill and direct the light more precisely.

3.4 Mounting to a Light Unit

Align the Bowens mount of the softbox with the Bowens mount on your studio strobe or LED light unit. Insert the softbox into the light unit's mount and rotate clockwise until it locks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly attached before use.

4. Operasyon

4.1 Light Diffusion

The AMBITFUL softbox is designed to produce soft, even light. Use both the inner and outer diffusers for maximum softness, ideal for portraits and product photography. For slightly more contrast or light output, the inner diffuser can be removed.

4.2 Light Control with Honeycomb Grid

When precise light direction is required, attach the honeycomb grid. This accessory restricts the beam spread, preventing light spill and creating more dramatic, controlled lighting effects. It is particularly useful for accent lighting or when isolating subjects.

Light spill is too wide:

Attach the honeycomb grid to the front of the softbox. This will help to narrow the beam and reduce light spill.

Softbox feels unstable on the light unit:

Confirm that the Bowens mount is fully inserted and rotated clockwise until it locks securely. Check that the light unit's mount is also tightened properly on its stand.
