- Unfold the air mattress on a clean, level surface, free from sharp objects.
- Locate the 2-in-1 valve on the side of the mattress.
- Open the outer cap of the valve.
- Insert the nozzle of an external air pump (sold separately) into the valve opening. Ensure a snug fit.
- Inflate the mattress until it is firm to the touch. Do not overinflate.
- Remove the pump and securely close the valve cap.
Initial Stretch
Upon first inflation, the material of the airbed will naturally stretch. This may cause a perceived loss of air pressure, which is normal and not a leak. Simply re-inflate the bed as needed. The mattress will fully settle and stabilize within 2-3 nights of use.

Once inflated, the Intex Dura-Beam Standard Downy Air Mattress is ready for use. Ensure the valve cap is securely closed to prevent air leakage. The Fiber-Tech construction provides a stable and comfortable sleeping surface. Avoid placing heavy or sharp objects on the mattress to prevent damage. The mattress is designed for temporary use as a guest bed, for camping, or for relaxing.

To deflate the mattress, open the 2-in-1 valve and allow the air to escape. You can gently press on the mattress to expedite deflation. Once fully deflated, fold the mattress neatly and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it away from sharp objects.

Perceived Air Loss
If the mattress seems to lose air shortly after inflation, it is most likely due to the material stretching, especially during the first few uses. This is a normal characteristic of new PVC materials. Simply add more air to achieve the desired firmness. The material will stabilize after 2-3 nights of use.

In the event of a small puncture, use the included repair patch. Clean and dry the affected area, apply the patch firmly, and allow it to cure for several hours before re-inflating the mattress.
